Refugees in Lebanon

[box] Refugees. For many of them the road starts in Syria and ends nowhere in uncertainty about their future. Their stories are a reminder of how life can take unexpected turns and bring people on a journey accompanied by fear, helplessness and hope. Here is an insight in some Syrian refugees’ portraits.

Abu Abdo was just 17 when his world was ravaged by the war in Syria. He and his friends felt they had no choice but to take up arms. A few years later, he hung up his gun, but is still haunted by memories of the violence he witnessed.
